We are happy to present to you the latest development by the Abrites Team key programming for ALL Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles (2018+) completely by OBDII. This is extremely useful as the KVM Data Flash can not be read for these vehicles. Please note that the 2021 Land Rover Discovery is not covered.

In order to be able to use this functionality, you will need to have special function JL005 and the TA57 key (433 MHz). A 315 MHz version of this key will also be released in the next few weeks.

The Abrites Team is happy to present our latest key solution for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles - the Abrites TA56 key. It is compatible with all JLR vehicles manufactured after 2012, including those with a locked KVM module, and works at 315 MHz frequency.
The list of supported vehicles has a few exceptions: Land Rover Defender October 2019+, Land Rover Discovery August 2019+, and Land Rover Evoque January 2020+.
TA56 is the top choice for resolving all keys lost situations, as well as programming additional car keys in a matter of minutes completely by OBDII. It is designed to work with the Abrites special function JL004 and the ZN002 PROTAG programmer. Once programmed to a certain vehicle, the TA56 cannot be reprogrammed to another.

Over the past couple of days we have been experiencing some difficulties with all VAG token-based functions, i.e. reading of component security (CS) and removing of component protection (CP). Unfortunately these difficulties have forced us to stop all those functions for our customers and reconstruct all the functions from the ground up. We are hoping to have these functions working soon.

All customers who already have purchased tokens will be able to exchange them for store credit equalling 20 euro per token, regardless of the value it was purchased for. The store credit can be used upon buying any Abrites products.

Team Abrites would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause however rest assured that we are doing our best to fix the issues we are having at the moment and we hope to have the service up and running again soon.

Today we launch the Abrites Diagnostics for VAG version 40.0. In this update, our team has added an incredibly useful feature, enabling you to read the Component Security (CS) and PIN by OBDII from the following vehicles for which reading the EEPROM or FLASH dump with a programmer was previously required:

- VW Touareg/Phaeton 2003-2010 and Audi A8 2004-2010 - read CS from the Kessy module (reading the EEPROM with a programmer was required and CS and PIN extraction was only available for vehicles up to 2008)
- VW Passat B6/CC - read CS from the comfort module/immobiliser (reading the EEPROM with a programmer was required)
- Audi A3 2008-2012 - read CS from the immobilizer (reading the FLASH and EEPROM from the Micronas CDC32xx processor was required)

Version 40.0 offers reading the CS and PIN by OBDII from the Kessy module (VW Touareg/ Phaeton 2003-2010, Audi A8 2004-2010). Unlike in previous versions where reading the EEPROM with a programmer was required (and CS and PIN extraction was available for vehicles up to 2008), this update will allow users to read the CS and PIN by OBDII for all vehicles regardless of the year they were built.

In short, our latest development will considerably ease your work, regarding module adaptation and key programming for VAG vehicles. To execute these procedures, you will need to use TK001 tokens. The list of procedures and token cost can be found here.

In the latest version of the Abrites Diagnostics for Peugeot/Citroen vehicles, our team has added a brand new function that allows advanced coding configuration in all models and units of the PSA group, even those manufactured after 2016. This functionality will be available for all customers that own special function PN019.

We have also added basic diagnostic support for the latest PSA models - 208II, 2008II, 508II, Partner/Berlingo III, DS3 Crossback and C4 Aircross.

As a gesture to all our loyal PSA customers, all users that own special function PN017 or PN018 and have an active AMS (as of 22 January 2021) will receive special function PN019 FOR FREE!

Today we also introduce the Abrites special function PN019, allowing advanced coding configuration in all models and units of PSA, even those manufactured after 2016.

The latest development of the Abrites ECU PROGRAMMING TOOL presents a wider range of supported VAG Bosch ECUs. Users are now given the tools to read and write DFLASH by OBDII for the following Bosch ECUs:

MED17.1.21 with TC1793 (UDS)
MED17.1.27 with TC1793 (UDS)
MED17.1 TC1796 (2MB)
MED17.1.1 TC1796 (2MB)

Moreover, Abrites now provides full support and hundreds of virtual flashes for the MED17.5.2 with TC1767 (TP2.0).

Version 4.0 now also provides support for ADBLUE modules. DFLASH and PFLASH reading and writing of the ADBLUE DCU is now possible by OBDII (CB012 adapter is required), as well as boot mode. This functionality is applicable to DCU17PC42 in Mercedes, Renault, Fiat, Opel and Vauxhall, and DCU17PC41 in Mercedes vehicles.

Last but not least, BMW ISN extraction for Bosch MD/MG engine control units is now possible. The user has to read the DFLASH on bench and then simply load it into the dedicated dump tool. This functionality requires an active EP003 special function.
