AVDI Software Update February 2017
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that we have prepared a new update for all our customers with a valid AMS.
The update will be sent to everyone with a valid AMS by Friday, February 10th.
Below you will find some of the main features of the new update.
AVDI Diagnostics for Mercedes version 9.9
The AVDI diagnostics for Mercedes 9.9 includes the updates to the MN026 special function, now there is a simplified process for the personalization of the EM001 to the W204/W207/W212 vehicles as well as the W176/W246/W117 with FBS3.
The new update includes various other improvements such as improving the speed for EZS password extraction on W204/W207/W212 and W176/W246/W117 vehicles when all keys are lost both with and without the usage of the AVDI distribution box.
Smart 451/ 452 SAM module replacement option. Using this function you will be able to take a used SAM module and reuse it in a different vehicle. This includes the change of the ID of the SAM module and replace it in the car. This solves the problem with the SAM modules' impossibility to be replaced. The function will be free for all owners of MN026 with a valid AMS.
AVDI diagnostics for Volkswagen/ Audi/ Skoda/ Seat/ Bentley/ Lamborghini (VAG) version 28.1
The current version of the AVDI diagnostics for VAG (28.1) includes multiple updates for the customers working on the vehicles from the VAG group.
Most of these updates include the addition of new modules to our support list. For example:
- New VDO NEC Clusters with software versions 2013+ have been added for entering service mode. This function will be free for the customers with VN003 as well as for the customers who have the AN050, AN048 meaning that the support for the older functions will continue.
- New EDC17 ECUs added for calibration (Free for customers with VN004 as well as customers who have the AN054).
The Update will be available to the customers with the above mention special functions and a valid AMS.
AVDI diagnostics for Porsche version 6.4
The current version of the AVDI diagnostics for Porsche (6.4) solves a very common problem many of our customers have faced on multiple occasions.
Until now it was nearly impossible for the regular (non official dealer) workshop to replace the headlights on the Panamera/ Cayenne cars which often needed replacement. In the new version all owners of the PO007 special function will be able to replace the headlights because the ID number inside the headlights of these vehicles can be changed thus mating used and new headlights to the car.
The Update will be available to the customers with the above mention special functions and a valid AMS.
AVDI diagnostics for Toyota 10.4
AVDI Diagnostics for Toyota's new version now offers the update to list of supported versions for new Smart systems with proximity remote keys.
This function will be free for all users with the TN006 function.

AVDI diagnostics for Fiat/ Alfa/ Lancia/ FCA version 6.9
The AVDI diagnostics for FIAT/ Alfa/ Lancia/ FCA 6.9 helps solve a problem with the key learning of the 2013+ Jeep/ Dodge/ Chrysler 2013+
Keys with AES. These keys are also available as (TA24).
This function will be available for all customers with FN017 and a valid AMS.
AVDI diagnostics for Subaru version 29.2
AVDI diagnostics for Subaru version 29.2 builds on the previous versions by improving the diagnostics and live data from what was previously available, adding new models to the support list, new engines and new generation of DPF regenerations
(Free for all customers with a valid AMS).
- In terms of key learning - the newly added functionality is to do with the ability to learn remote controls by diagnostics.
The functionality is free for all the customers with a valid AMS and the SB001 special function. The Update will be available to the customers with the above mention special functions and a valid AMS.
AVDI TAG key tool software version 9.5
The AVDI TAG key tool software version 9.5 includes the addition of the Dodge Sprinter key learning by dump.
For this function the customers will require the KT010 and ZN002 PROTAG programmer.
The Update will be available to the customers with the above mention special functions and a valid AMS.
ABPROG version 2.0
The current update of the ABPROG (v.2.0) allows the renewal of the Volvo Hitag 2 keys.
This includes the addition of the new AB003 Special function which allows us to do the renewal for HITAG 2 keys.
The new function allows factory reset of used keys (included keyless keys) KR55WK49266, KR55WK49264 . Keys for 2007 and up cars are covered by this function
AVDI Diagnostics for Toyota version 10.3
Updates to version 10.3 of the AVDI diagnostics for Toyota include the following:
- Support for master key emulation for many new Smart Access Systems both for G and H types of keys (free update for all owners of TN005+TN006 with active AMS)
The included models are many different and include MY 16 and 17 cars.
All customers with the required special functions and a valid AMS should receive their links this week.
AVDI Diagnostics for Mercedes version 9.8
With the latest update to the AVDI diagnostics for Mercedes we build on the currently existing functionality by simplifying and adding new models. The update is focused on the DAS manager special function and builds on these functions to continue the tradition of making DAS manager, as a part of the AVDI diagnostics for Mercedes, a leader in DAS related Mercedes problem solving.
- Added support for US Mercedes/Dodge Sprinter (NCV3) to DAS Manager. Programming keys by dump of the EZS eeprom is now available. (Free for all owners of MN026 with an active AMS)
- DAS Manager improved with the addition of new types engine control units MED177, CRD3 (free for all owners of MN026 with an active AMS)
- Improved electronic steering lock (ESL/ELV) personalization for W176/W246 models.(free for all owners of MN026 with an active AMS)
For all customers who own MN026 and have a valid AMS the updates will be sent by the end of the current week.
AVDI Diagnostics for Volvo version 5.2
The current version of the AVDI diagnostics for Volvo includes something that our customers have been asking for a long time.
With the introduction of the VL004 special function our customers will now be able to perform key learning for Volvo vehicles with HITAG 2 type of keys for 2008+ cars
In addition to that we are now able to perform reset of VOLVO HITAG 2 keys using ABPROG.
The following CEM modules have been tested and confirmed for the moment:
- 6G9T-14c256- - Delphi
- 7G9T-14c256- - Delphi
- AG9T-14c256- - Delphi
- BG9T-14c256- - Delphi
- CG9T-14c256- - Delphi
Special function VL004 and an active AMS are needed in addition to AVDI.

AVDI Diagnostics for Subaru version 29.1
BREAKING NEWS for all Subaru specialists and lockmiths worldwide!
The news in regards to the AVDI diagnostics for Subaru version 29.1 are indeed great, the new addition to the software will help all customers who have had to replace smart systems when all keys are lost. Now there is no need for that, the smart systems and immobilizers can be reset thus saving you time and money. After you reset you will also be able to do key learning for this car regardless if you have a working key or not.Adding one key does not require reset. The procedure for all keys lost including the reset is done completely by OBD. For the first time in the world you will be able to do ALL KEYS lost for both Subaru Smart systems and mechanical key cars by OBD. With the new function you will be able to program keys and reset the smart system for all Subaru cars up until 2017 without the need to replace the smart system or disassemble the car to do so. When all keys are lost we now will no longer need to replace the smart system or immobilizer.
- No need to replace the SMART SYSTEM or IMMOBILIZER when all keys are lost on G chip Subaru cars. Both Mechanical and Smart keyless systems are supported.
- Smart system and immobilizer reset by OBD. You will not need to replace the smart system and immobilizer, now you can just reset them, not only that - you can now reset them by OBD.
- Using this function the cost for key learning will be significally reduced for you and your customers as now you will not need to replace the smart system, just reset!
(Free for all owners of the new SB001 special function with a valid AMS)
NB: ZN039-2 is not needed for Subaru.
- NEW Subaru Smart System Key learning added for mechanical key and keyless cars - SB001.
- In addition to all of the above ECU replacement is also available with used ECU (ECM according to Subaru terminology). You can reset the ECU and replace it
in any new car. FA20 engine cars have also been tested.
AVDI Diagnostics for Mitsubishi version 3.1
The new version of the AVDI diagnostics for Mitsubishi includes improvements and new features in the following:
1. Key learning enhanced with the following sub-functions:
1.1.Key Registration (by Bar-code Number). This feature allows you to register a key based on the bar code number from the key (free for all customers with a valid AMS and MI006)
1.2.Key code registration to Engine / Key code and Chassis Number(VIN) registration to Engine (free for all customers with a valid AMS and MI006)
1.3.Master key search (free for all customers with a valid AMS and MI006)
1.4.Remote Control Reception Check (Checking if the car can receive the signal from the remote) (free for all customers with a valid AMS and MI006)
1.5. PIN code (default value) automatic setting. (free for all customers with a valid AMS and MI006)
2. Added special function "DPF regeneration" (free for all customers with a valid AMS)
3. Standard diagnosis functions (Read/Clear DTCs, Freeze frama data, Actual values, Actuator tests) support for all units for all models MY2006+. (free for all customers with a valid AMS)
